Boeing has retired its last 787-8 Dreamliner test aircraft, ZA004, after over 16 years of service and more than 670 test flights. The aircraft, which played a crucial role in establishing performance and safety standards for the Dreamliner, will be stripped for spare parts at Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona, as further maintenance is no longer cost-effective. Its legacy will live on through every 787 Dreamliner currently flying and those yet to be delivered.
