Slovenia’s unemployment rate stood at 4.6% in November 2025, unchanged from the previous month. This remained the highest level since March, as the number of unemployed persons rose by 126 month-over-month to 45,796. The unemployment rate for women was 5.0%, compared with 4.3% for men. By age group, unemployment stood at 7.5% for those aged 15–29, 4.6% for those 50 and older, and 5.7% for those 55 and above. For comparison, the jobless rate was 4.6% in November of the previous year. Meanwhile, employers reported 10,641 job vacancies, 9.0% fewer than a year ago, and 142,314 openings over the first eleven months of 2025, lower by 3.6% from the same period last year.
