Franklin's XRP Spot ETF Captures Fresh Capital in Expanding Crypto ETF Market

Recent data from SoSoValue reveals that the XRP spot ETF ecosystem attracted meaningful capital on January 16, with Franklin's XRP ETF (XRPZ) leading the charge. The fund recorded a net inflow of $1.12 million that day, pushing its cumulative net inflow since inception to $288 million—a testament to growing investor interest in crypto ETF products.

The broader XRP spot ETF market continues to expand, with total net assets now standing at $1.52 billion. The Franklin fund's performance reflects a shift in how institutional and retail investors are gaining exposure to XRP through regulated, accessible crypto ETF vehicles rather than direct token purchases. With cumulative inflows across the XRP ETF category reaching $1.28 billion, the data underscores the increasing role that spot ETFs play in the crypto investment landscape, offering a bridge between traditional finance and digital assets.
