Neynar co-founder explains Farcaster's vision: building a "builder-first" network that takes builders from ideas to sustainable income

Some members of the Clanker team will join Neynar. Neynar’s acquisition of Farcaster’s core mission is to make building software easier. At the product level, there will be no major adjustments to Farcaster, Neynar, or Clanker, and rumors about the shutdown of the protocol or client are not true. Neynar’s developer platform will continue to exist, and financial and trading-related features will remain unchanged. The next phase will focus on evaluating product priorities, gradually advancing the roadmap while maintaining the openness of the network. As the barriers to software development continue to lower, combined with native crypto financial tracks and open distribution mechanisms, Farcaster is expected to become an important starting point for creators and developers to experiment, collaborate, and scale.
