A global financial震荡 sounds the alarm! US stocks, US bonds, and the US dollar all "plunged"

The tariff dispute directly triggered a wave of US asset sell-offs. Last night, the three major US stock indices all declined—Dow Jones fell 1.76%, the S&P 500 dropped over 2%, and the Nasdaq was hit even harder, plunging 2.39%, with the tech sector bearing the brunt; meanwhile, the US dollar also fared poorly, with the index dropping 0.41% to close at 98.642, hitting a near two-week low; the US bond market faced even greater pressure, with the 10-year yield rising over 6 basis points, surpassing 4.29%, the highest level since mid-August last year. In short: the triangle of stocks, bonds, and the dollar has completely collapsed.

What is most in demand during such times? Safe-haven assets. International gold prices soared, with COMEX futures expiring in February breaking through the $4700/oz mark, and Asian markets continuing to push higher. Some analysts bluntly say, this is a naked "sell US"—a multi-asset decline like this usually only occurs in emerging economies; it’s quite unusual for the US.

Even more alarming signals have emerged. Denmark’s pension fund announced it will liquidate $100 million in US bonds by the end of the month, citing concerns over the US fiscal situation. Financial media outlets are also warning that behind geopolitical conflicts and trade wars, the core issue is a capital war. Historically, it’s always been like this: allies reduce their debt holdings in each other and turn to hard currencies like gold. The views of Bridgewater Associates also confirm this point.

The question now is: is the "triple kill" of US stocks, bonds, and the dollar just the beginning? Will the US bond sell-off spread to global institutions? After gold stabilizes above $4700, how high can it go?

Danish pension funds are all starting to run, and now U.S. bonds are really going to cool off. Gold is the real hard currency.

What does it matter if gold breaks through 4700? Even US bonds are starting to be liquidated. This time really is different.

Gold breaking 4700 is a signal; major institutions are quietly shifting towards hard currencies. The key is this wave of clearing out US bonds.

Danish funds are all starting to run away, and we're still sleepwalking? Gold breaking 4700 is definitely no coincidence.
