【Crypto World】Will Private Credit Tokenization Be the Next Hotspot in the RWA Sector? Some industry insiders believe that the information asymmetry and over-the-counter trading characteristics of the traditional private credit market are precisely where blockchain can play its strongest role. Compared to highly transparent assets (such as tokenized stocks), introducing blockchain into private credit can indeed bring about marginal gains.

Interestingly, industry insiders generally expect a notable on-chain credit default case to emerge this year. On the surface, it appears to be a risk, but in reality, this incident could demonstrate the advantages of blockchain in auditing and anti-fraud measures—after all, all transaction records are on the chain, leaving nowhere to hide.

From a macro perspective, the current global inflation pressures and debt issues are increasingly prominent, which actually indirectly benefits safe-haven assets like Bitcoin. Meanwhile, demand from traditional large institutions for yield-bearing tokenized assets is expected to continue rising, potentially becoming a key driver for the development of the entire RWA market. In simple terms, in an era of illiquidity, the imagination for on-chain asset securitization has just begun.

Wait, are default cases actually proof that blockchain is good? I need to ponder this logic... But the fact that there's no place to hide on the chain is indeed brilliant; scammers are doomed to cry themselves to death.

I'm optimistic about the tokenization of private credit, just worried that institutions haven't caught on yet. On-chain default cases will come sooner or later, and when that happens, all the naysayers will have to shut up. The phrase "there's nowhere to hide" is really spot on; it's much more transparent than traditional finance. With inflation so severe, if you don't get on board, you'll really be out of the game.

Wait for breach of contract cases to come out and see how the crypto circle shifts the blame.

I think the tokenization of private credit has been overhyped a bit. If actual default cases occur, it might actually undermine market confidence.
