RIVER's recent unlocking situation is quite interesting. This round of unlocking involves approximately 2.75 million tokens, accounting for about 2.76% of the total market cap, with a total unlock value of around $54.69 million. Typically, this level of unlocking would generate some selling pressure, but in reality, the price not only didn't fall but actually became part of the upward movement.

Several factors behind this are worth noting. First, the market's purchasing power is clearly stronger than the supply pressure caused by unlocking. Trading activity is high, market sentiment is good, and buying interest is actively absorbing the supply. Second, this unlocking ratio isn't considered a "large-scale panic-level sell-off." When the unlocking volume is relatively small, the market's ability to absorb it is much stronger—larger supply can be accommodated, making chain reactions of decline less likely.

Another key detail is that large holders and institutions are very likely to have started accumulating at low levels after the unlocking announcement. They wouldn't rush to sell on the unlocking day; instead, they hold or even increase their positions, providing strong support. This pre-accumulation logic significantly weakens the negative impact of unlocking.

Overall, RIVER's performance this time indicates that market sentiment is indeed positive. However, the next move still depends on the actions of major holders.

nah this analysis is missing the actual correlation matrix here. if you run a basic regression on unlock volume vs. price action across similar tokenomics structures, the 2.76% unlock doesn't statistically explain the upside move at all. classic case of retrofitting narrative to price action tbh

It should be unlocking 1.5 million tokens, right?

The method of large holders accumulating shares is really old-fashioned but effective. I'm wondering if this time is just the prelude for the main players to push the price up and then sell off again.

2.75 million tokens unlocked and still rising? That's how strong the capital flow is, absorbing the accumulation like a boss.

The big players' accumulation strategy is the same old trick; let's see how high it can be pushed later.

Large investors are accumulating, while retail investors are chasing the highs. This is the current situation.
