## Saylor Returns to the Market: Strategy Aims for New Bitcoins While Volatility Remains High

Michael Saylor's early move suggests an iterative accumulation strategy. On December 14th, MicroStrategy's CEO posted a cryptic message on X - "Back to More Orange Dots" accompanied by a portfolio chart - a signal that historically precedes a new wave of Bitcoin acquisitions by the company.

### The Context of Strategy's Position

MicroStrategy confirms itself as the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin in the world. With assets exceeding 660,000 BTC ( estimated value around $58.5 billion at today's price of $90.78K), the company has established a dominant position in the market. The average acquisition cost remains at $74,696 per coin, a metric that continues to represent one of the company's strategic advantages.

The last significant purchase was on December 12th, when Strategy acquired 10,624 BTC for approximately $963 million at $90,615 per coin - the largest capital load since the end of July. If Saylor's hint materializes, it would represent an extension of the December iterative strategy that has already added hundreds of millions in value to the company's balance sheets.

### Market Pressures and the Role of ETFs

Bitcoin experienced a significant correction in the past week, losing about 1.82% over the last seven days. The price fluctuates around $90.78K after touching lows below $90K last week, reflecting a fragile market sentiment.

Outflows from spot ETFs are one of the main sources of pressure. Between November and December, net flows remained negative, with BlackRock recording a record outflow of $523 million in a single trading session. These movements, combined with macroeconomic uncertainty related to central bank decisions and interest rate expectations, have amplified volatility in risky assets.

### What Analysts Say About the Price

Community forecasts remain mixed. JPMorgan has outlined scenarios ranging from price stabilization at "floor" levels to potential alignments with gold valuation dynamics in 2026, should macro conditions normalize. These scenarios indicate significant upside potential, although conditioned by the evolution of systemic factors.

### Why Saylor's Signals Matter

MicroStrategy's iterative purchases have historically acted as catalysts for Bitcoin adoption within corporate treasury strategies. In markets with structurally limited liquidity, each large allocation generates incremental demand shocks that can influence pricing. A new accumulation cycle by the world's leading holder could replicate similar dynamics, extending the December rally into the following months.
