I've been pondering a question: How can Ethereum's L2 solutions truly achieve interoperability? And how should the underlying ETH value capture logic be established?

Another hotter topic is the AI agent economy. In this wave, Ethereum is not a bystander but a participant—so what kind of stance should it take? Should it serve as an infrastructure provider or directly engage in the economic cycle? These two questions may determine Ethereum's position in the next phase.

Interoperability? Basically, it's just different L2s fighting each other; no one wants to back down. --- Regarding AI agents, if Ethereum dares to go all-in, it will definitely explode. The problem is, we're still watching and observing. --- Wait, have we really figured out the value capture logic of ETH? It feels like we're still in the exploration stage. --- Participating in the economic cycle sounds good, but being a stable infrastructure provider is a solid role. Why is this multiple-choice question so difficult? --- Once L2 interoperability is truly achieved, that will be a big deal. Right now, there are still a bunch of fragmented solutions. --- The wave of AI is coming. If Ethereum only focuses on infrastructure, that would be too conservative. --- Honestly, L2 is a bit chaotic right now, and the road to interoperability is long. --- The next phase's position really depends on how these two strategies are played out.

L2 interoperability has been discussed for so many years, and the same point remains—it's about who can first thoroughly solve the security issues of cross-chain bridges. In the AI agent economy track, if Ethereum still only wants to serve as infrastructure, that's too conservative. It needs to proactively grab that value cycle. The core of ETH value capture actually lies in the fee mechanism. The current design is still somewhat fragmented. Currently, truly interoperable L2s are rare, and most are operating independently. Frankly, Ethereum's participation in this wave of AI Agents isn't deep enough, while Solana is quite active. If the value capture logic isn't sorted out, more L2s won't make a difference. The two issues mentioned by this guy are indeed key, but the execution level still seems uncertain.

L2 interoperability is easy to talk about, but when it comes to actual implementation, no one dares to guarantee... The value capture logic in the crypto world is inherently mysterious. --- AI agents are really a big deal. If Ethereum still only focuses on infrastructure, that's too conservative. It needs to find a way to take a share. --- Honestly, the fragmentation problem of L2 should have been solved long ago. Now we're still thinking about how to achieve interoperability... It's a bit awkward. --- The logic of value capture is often spoken about in grand terms, but in the end, it still depends on ecosystem user numbers. --- The AI agent economy is coming. If Ethereum doesn't adapt, it might just become a pipeline, and that would be the end. --- L2 interoperability and AI agents both point to the same issue—Is Ethereum still the center? --- I think, compared to interoperability, reducing fees is more urgent... Otherwise, user loss will be too rapid. --- Participating directly in the economic cycle carries some risks. Infrastructure might be more stable? Or is this just a false dilemma?
