Lighter's recent airdrop operation is indeed quite bold. The project team is distributing LIT tokens to 100 wallets, and so far, over 170 million tokens have been sent out.
These LIT tokens come from a core wallet containing 250 million, accounting for a quarter of the total supply of the project. The largest single allocation reaches 58.91 million tokens, which is equivalent to directly pushing a large number of tokens to a few addresses.
From another perspective, this kind of concentrated distribution method is indeed rare in airdrop history. Distributing token by token from a single wallet, with each transaction involving tens of millions of LIT, makes this scale and pace noteworthy. Compared to other projects' airdrop approaches, Lighter's method is a relatively aggressive attempt.

This distribution method is a bit outrageous. Giving away millions of LIT to just a few addresses. If I had known earlier, I would have applied for early access too.

Wow, the concentration is a bit scary. 100 wallets hold a quarter of the supply?

Uh... 58.91 million tokens in one go? Is this a warm gesture for the whales?

Wow, this move is too aggressive, directly throwing 58,910,000 tokens to a single address? Is this a crazy accumulation or really an airdrop?

Whoa, 58.91 million tokens dumped all at once? This isn't an airdrop, this is feeding the whales.

Damn, 58.91 million tokens in one go? Isn't this just the prelude to a dump?
This airdrop feels a bit too aggressive, with 100 wallets taking a quarter of the supply...
Something's not right. The pace seems a bit rushed.
Other projects' airdrops aren't this extravagant. What is Lighter trying to do?
Both concentrated distribution and such large single transactions—it's going to be pretty exciting when they dump.
