U.S. BTC and ETH Spot ETFs Experience Nearly $315 Million Net Outflow on Friday

According to SoSovalue data, the U.S. BTC spot ETF recorded a continuous 6-day streak of single-day net outflows totaling nearly $276 million this Friday, with no BTC ETF experiencing net inflow on this day;

Among them, BlackRock's IBIT led the net outflows this Friday with nearly $193 million (2,200 BTC), bringing the total net outflow for IBIT to $62.06 billion;

Next is Fidelity's FBTC, which recorded a single-day net outflow of $74.38 million (849.80 BTC), with a total net inflow of $12.1 billion to date;

Grayscale's GBTC experienced a net outflow of $8.89 million (101.59 BTC) on Friday, with a total net inflow of $25.19 billion so far;

As of now, the total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $113.53 billion, accounting for 6.49% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization, with a cumulative net inflow of $56.62 billion.

On the same day, the U.S. Ethereum spot ETF recorded a total net outflow of $38.7 million, marking the third consecutive day of net outflows since this week. No ETH ETF experienced net inflow on this Friday either;

Among them, BlackRock's ETHA led the net outflows this Friday with $22.12 million (7,560 ETH), with a total net outflow of $12.6 billion for ETHA so far;

Next is Grayscale's ETHE, which experienced a single-day net outflow of $16.58 million (5,660 ETH), with a total net inflow of $5.1 billion to date;

As of now, the total net asset value of Ethereum spot ETFs is $17.73 billion, accounting for 5.01% of Ethereum's total market capitalization, with a cumulative net inflow of $12.34 billion.

In summary, due to the Christmas holiday, U.S. stock markets ceased trading on Christmas Day (this Thursday), and data release from the ETF market on the first day after Christmas (this Friday) has been delayed.

Additionally, this ongoing trend of net outflows indicates that the short-term selling pressure and capital withdrawal faced by the crypto market (especially institutional exposure represented by Bitcoin ETFs) have not undergone a fundamental change.
