Many altcoins fall into long-term consolidation, often hiding an easily overlooked reason — the frequent re-accumulation behavior of holders.

These investors tend to keep adding to their positions during downturns to lower their average cost, ultimately holding on tightly and not selling at all. This issue may sound simple, but it has a significant impact on the market. When a large amount of capital is locked in this way, it becomes very difficult for the market to complete an effective shakeout process. True shakeouts require sufficient liquidity and circulation of chips, but the presence of these investors directly disrupts this process. As a result, altcoins often remain directionless for a long time, repeatedly hitting a bottom within a range, leaving investors helplessly waiting.

This is the common problem of the dead-hold party—adding until bankruptcy and still not letting go. Getting caught once and averaging down; getting caught ten times and still averaging down—laughable. No wonder all those coins are dead; it's all due to this kind of stubborn holding. Exactly right, if liquidity is locked up, there's no hope. Instead of averaging down, it's better to learn to cut losses, really. I've seen a guy who kept adding until he had no pants left. This logic is clear—if the flow of chips doesn't move, the market gets stuck. Addiction to averaging down needs to be cured, or you'll lose everything. It's actually greed—hesitating to cut during a decline. Basically, it's gambler's mentality—buying more as it falls.

Holding without selling is indeed poison; no wonder those coins always stay stagnant.

Damn, these are the people I saw, constantly holding on at the bottom, refusing to let go until they double. Forget it, just go back to sleep. Anyway, these coins won't wake up. Adding to the position, adding to the position, until finally quitting the circle, hilarious. Basically, it's just making excuses for being trapped. Unshakable, brother. This move is really clever, successfully turning yourself into a long-term holder.

Haha, this is me—buying the dip while regretting it, holding on stubbornly without letting go. --- That's right, I got caught in this way. What should I do now? --- So, our group is actually the meat grinder for altcoins, haha. --- Wait, are you saying I shouldn't buy the dip... but how can I not buy when it drops? --- No wonder it feels like we're stuck in a sideways market all day; turns out, our group has locked everything down. --- That's what they say, but if the price really drops, you still have to buy more. Who can stand the loss? --- I've been hit. I'm that fool who stubbornly holds on without letting go.
