Looking more closely at user profiles, it’s obvious that the number of birthdays after 2000 has increased significantly.

A few trading groups I often hang out in have quietly started to have Post-00s as administrators. When they chat, they mention exams, university finals—sometimes I even wonder if I’ve entered the wrong place.

Why does the crypto world have such a strong appeal to this generation? As someone who has experienced several bull and bear markets, I want to share some observations.

**Entry barrier is almost zero**

What about traditional financial markets? Opening an A-share account requires approval, opening a US stock account needs an offshore account, and real estate requires a huge down payment. How about the crypto world? Just a phone and an internet connection. No threshold for opening an account, no threshold for trading, and even creating your own coin has no barrier. A Post-00 college student can participate in investment games of the same level as Bitcoin and Ethereum with just a few hundred yuan.

I know a Post-00 named Zohar, who started getting into Bitcoin with 3,000 yuan in high school. Although he initially lost most of it, he later achieved dozens of times growth through NFT investments. Such opportunities are almost unheard of in traditional industries.
