Back in September 2024, Claude Code started as nothing more than an experimental side venture. Today, it's worth reconsidering what 'side project' actually means. Every major innovation began as a spare-time experiment—a developer's midnight session, a sketched idea on the back of a napkin. The gap between 'just a hobby' and 'the next big thing' is often just persistence and timing. If you've been sitting on a project idea, waiting for the 'right moment' to launch, that moment is now. Build it, ship it, iterate it. Whether it's code, a protocol, or a decentralized application, the market doesn't reward waiting—it rewards shipping. Start your project today and see where the momentum takes you.

Honestly, this article sounds like it's encouraging people to jump on board quickly, but in reality, most projects that ship are dead...

It's the same old "ship now" rhetoric again... The point is valid, but how many people can really turn a side project into the next Claude? Most people's ideas still end up rotting on their hard drives.

Nah, it's the "ship it" comments again... Easy to say, but the gas fee is the real torture.

Basically, get moving and don't overthink it. Over the past six months, I've seen too many people just talk about plans on paper, while Claude Code is almost taking off.

Damn, this article is really true. All the successful people around me started doing first and then talked about it.
