A major cryptocurrency exchange has disclosed that authorities arrested a former customer support representative based in India following a significant security breach incident. The case highlights ongoing concerns about insider threats within the crypto industry, particularly vulnerability through customer-facing staff who may have access to sensitive user data and account information. Such incidents underscore the critical importance of robust internal security protocols, employee vetting procedures, and access control measures that platforms must implement to protect user assets and personal information.

The issue of insiders is truly hard to prevent; it's the fate of centralized exchanges.

Damn, a insider! That's why my assets are spread across multiple chains. It should have been investigated thoroughly long ago; internal exchange vulnerabilities are even more numerous than public chains. That guy in India really just sold the rocket booster; this deviation from the orbit is quite severe. You still need to DYOR; don't put all your eggs in one basket. Once this case came out, it feels like I need to add some firepower to the defense.

Damn, is the insider coming again? This time it's the Indian guy... --- The security of exchanges is really just for show; customer service can cause such major incidents --- It's another insider causing trouble. It feels like this has become a common industry problem... --- That's why I never keep too many coins on an exchange. Who knows when a customer service rep might turn against you --- This guy from India really dares to do it. He's caught now, serves him right, but how many people got scammed? --- Oh my god, these days even customer service can't be trusted. Are my assets still safe? --- Always remember one thing: if it's not your private key, then it's not your coins. Exchanges are the same... --- This guy is really bold, directly treating customer support's identity as a password for money --- Another scam that ended in failure. Really, insider incidents like this should be blacklisted by exchanges --- Why is it always India... Not to discriminate, but it just seems like the most news comes from there
