Just locked in solid gains by closing out most of my long scalp position at current levels. The momentum's been solid here, but I'm watching for one more push just slightly above before pulling the trigger on the remaining position.
Once I'm fully out, the plan shifts — looking to flip bearish and set up short entries if price hits my resistance zone. The technicals are lining up nicely for a potential pullback, so patience is key here.
Monero's been showing interesting price action lately. Sometimes the best trades aren't about chasing every move, but waiting for that clean pivot point to switch sides and catch the next leg down.

ngl the real alpha here isn't the scalp itself, it's knowing when NOT to chase... opportunity cost of bagholding another 2% up hits different when you could be setting up the short already. thesis validation incoming

Locking in gains and then running away—that's the proper attitude of a seasoned trader.

Wow, this profit-taking rhythm is really steady... Are you waiting for a short squeeze?

tbh the real edge here isn't the scalp itself—it's recognizing when to *stop* chasing. most retail just hemorrhage on that last 5-10% trying to squeeze an extra basis point out of a position that's already exhausted its edge. the risk-reward flips ugly real quick once you're bag holding through consolidation.

Profited, sold off most of the longs. But I still want to wait for another wave before clearing, I feel there's still a chance.
