The privacy token Midnight in the Cardano ecosystem has recently exhibited an interesting phenomenon—trading volume has decreased by nearly 45% in the short term, but the price has not followed downward and has even slightly risen. At first glance, this trend seems a bit abnormal.

Generally speaking, what does this mismatch between volume and price indicate? The selling pressure has clearly eased, suggesting that the selling force is weakening. Large investors might be quietly accumulating or simply holding their positions without selling. For traders, this indeed warrants attention—rising prices with low trading volume often imply that market liquidity is drying up, and once a large order hits the market, the price is very likely to plunge.

Even more concerning is that volume-price divergence has rarely signaled a healthy bull market in history. Conversely, it often indicates that the upward momentum is beginning to weaken, or it could be the eerie calm before the storm. Truly healthy gains should be accompanied by moderate and consistent trading volume. Therefore, before volume shows a clear recovery, blindly chasing highs remains risky.

Discrepancies between volume and price are a common pattern; a 45% decrease in volume paired with rising prices is not a good sign. Are the big players quietly accumulating or just covering before a dump? You need to monitor on-chain address flows to be sure. --- A sharp rise with low liquidity is the most dangerous, a single big bearish candle can break through in minutes. Don't be fooled by false breakouts. --- Midnight's recent moves, do they seem like a Ponzi scheme? You should check if there are new addresses accumulating funds lately. --- An increase in price without matching volume is a sign of weakness; historically, such patterns usually lead to trouble. --- Reduced selling pressure ≠ genuine buying interest; it might just be a trap set by the whales before they start to reduce their holdings. --- I just want to know if there have been large orders moving out of exchange cold wallets recently—that's the real truth. --- Such volume-price divergence, if seen in other coins, would be a warning sign of a potential exit scam; Midnight is no exception.

The divergence between price and volume is a common trick; in eight out of ten cases, it's a false breakout before cutting the leeks.

I've seen this kind of divergence between price and volume many times. Midnight's move is a bit strange—volume was cut in half and yet it still dares to go higher? The local dogs are playing tricks again. Pumping with low liquidity is the easiest way to get crushed.

I've seen many cases of price-volume divergence, and I feel that this wave of Midnight is just a fake rally... Once the sell-off happens, it really can't hold up.
