Recently, this wave of market activity has caused quite a stir in the derivatives market. According to on-chain data, the total liquidation volume across the entire network in the past 24 hours reached $59.1873 million, with short positions being liquidated significantly more — $38.0595 million. In comparison, long positions were liquidated only $21.1278 million.

What does this mean? The bears have taken a big hit during this decline. Specifically, for mainstream cryptocurrencies, the liquidation amount for BTC was $5.9886 million, followed closely by ETH with $4.7259 million.

From the market sentiment reflected by this data, it appears that short sellers haven't had a good time recently. Whether it's Bitcoin or altcoins, leveraged longs seem to have found their rhythm during this period. This distribution of liquidations may indicate that the market is searching for a new equilibrium, and derivatives traders are using real actions to validate the current trend.

Short positions liquidated over 38 million? What does this number indicate? Retail investors are still being cut. Look at the liquidation ratios of BTC and ETH; it's clear that large funds are dominating the rhythm behind the scenes. This is called a balance point, which is just a redistribution of chips.

Are the shorts being liquidated again? This time it's really bloody haha --- The contract market is really fierce this time, our longs are making a lot of profit --- Looking at this data, shorts probably need to surrender --- $59.18 million liquidation... Someone must have gone bankrupt, right? --- Almost 6 million USD was liquidated in a single BTC, just thinking about it hurts --- Shorts are really miserable, this time they probably need to reflect on their lives --- Longs finally breathe a sigh of relief, while the shorts' wallets are crying --- Just asking if anyone has been numb from being liquidated in this wave --- Looking for a new balance point? Probably a new point to cut the leeks again
