Market fluctuations are unpredictable; no one can accurately forecast what will happen in the next second.

That's why most retail investors keep losing — they keep waiting for some confirmation signal from the market, unaware that they've long been caught in a trap. The market won't follow your script, but your reactions are entirely within your control.

How do profitable traders do it? Not by making more accurate predictions, but by being better prepared. Every entry, addition, and stop-loss has a plan; they can respond calmly regardless of how the market fluctuates.

Ultimately, every trading strategy carries risks, and every decision involves uncertainty — this cannot be changed. The only thing you can change is yourself. When the market crashes, stay calm; when false breakouts appear, don't be greedy. That’s real skill.

Don’t waste effort trying to eliminate market chaos — it’s impossible. Instead of worrying about the future trend, focus on clarifying your emotions and mindset first. Controlling yourself is equivalent to controlling the most critical variable in trading.

That's true, but most people still can't change themselves. How about you?

That's right, mindset is indeed the biggest enemy in trading.

Sounds good, but the key is whether you can keep your mindset and hold on. I'm the kind of person who wants to sell when there's a big drop, even with a plan in place, it doesn't help haha.

Basically, it's a mindset game; predictions are all nonsense. Having a solid plan is better than anything else. That's how I do it. Wait, is there really someone who can stay ungreedy and calm? I always feel like I'm being driven by emotions. The biggest enemy is myself, and that hits home. Plans, plans, plans—saying it three times might really help. That's what they say, but when the market is truly volatile, it's still easy to break down.

That's right, but very few people can actually do it. Most are still gambling and don't have a proper plan in place.
