the middle class isn’t dead, it’s changed

people you see flying economy, staying at the motel with their kids who are somewhat overweight are actually lower classes now

the middle class is comprised of tech, finance and crypto workers earning >500k per household

in a world where labour is automated, the middle class will become a small group of decently well off people working for industries that automate said labour

the implication of this is a change in the nature of services. for eg i expect proliferation of business class only flights

the fabric of society is about to change rapidly
