The market has indeed been quite fierce recently. According to on-chain data statistics, the total liquidation amount across the network in the past 24 hours reached 259 million USD, with long orders liquidating 205 million USD and short orders liquidating 54.4747 million USD. In Bitcoin, long orders liquidated 62.9993 million USD and short orders liquidated 21.6533 million USD; in Ethereum, long orders liquidated 52.3205 million USD and short orders liquidated 12.2546 million USD. Even more astonishing is that a total of 85,246 people have been liquidated globally. The largest single liquidation event occurred on the Hyperliquid exchange's BTC-USD futures contract, which liquidated 7.92 million USD all at once. It is evident that the risks of futures trading should be taken seriously.

85k+ accounts liquidated in 24hrs? ngl that's just natural selection sorting out the leverage degenerates from actual protocol thinkers. the real play isn't predicting these meat grinder swings—it's watching which governance structures collapse under systemic stress. hyperliquid blowing 7.92m on a single contract is textbook fragmentation inefficiency waiting for optimal fork timing imo
