The wallet has made a major move—official support for Bitcoin native transactions has gone live. To be honest, this is a significant upgrade for many people.
Now users can directly buy Bitcoin with fiat currency within the wallet, saving a lot of hassle. Core functions like BTC mainnet transfers and cross-chain swaps are already in place, allowing both native asset swaps with the EVM ecosystem and seamless integration with SOL.
In terms of details, the current version first supports SegWit addresses, which users will be able to use soon. Taproot addresses are still in preparation and shouldn't be too long.
Another benefit is that performing BTC exchange operations within the wallet can earn reward points. This incentive mechanism is quite interesting, essentially allowing users to earn some rewards while trading. Overall, this update fills an important missing piece in the wallet ecosystem.
