【Chain Wen】New news has emerged from Brazil’s financial circle. The country’s largest private bank, Itaú, has explicitly advised investors that up to 3% of their assets can be allocated to Bitcoin.
What does this recommendation imply? It indicates that this traditional financial institution has now incorporated Bitcoin into its regular asset allocation framework. It is no longer a question of “whether to adopt” but rather “how much to allocate.” Although the 3% figure may seem small, for a traditional bank, being able to include crypto assets in official advice represents a clear attitude shift.
This reflects a trend: more and more mainstream financial institutions are adjusting their perceptions of Bitcoin. From previous cautious observation to now providing specific allocation recommendations, such changes are becoming increasingly common worldwide.

3% may seem small, but this is the beginning of traditional finance surrendering to Bitcoin.

What does 3% really mean? It feels like the banks are still testing the bottom line.

3% may seem small, but this is the official announcement from the major banks. What it signifies needs no further explanation—traditional finance has finally conceded...

3% allocation? That's just the traditional bank's "blood oath." To be honest, it's still cowardly, but at least it admits that Bitcoin can be included in the asset basket. Compared to the arguments five years ago that "cryptocurrency is a scam," the progress has definitely been made. It's just that this ratio is tightly constrained, for fear of being questioned by the board and getting reprimanded.

3% really isn't much, but you can definitely see traditional finance gradually bowing down.

3% sounds small, but this is the attitude shift in traditional finance. They're finally starting to take it seriously.

Haha, the 3% thing actually depends on the underlying game theory. Traditional finance finally can't hold on anymore?

Traditional finance can no longer hold back. 3% may not be much, but do you not understand what it represents? This is surrender.
