How not to miss crypto tokens before their surge on the exchange?
Early investor vs latecomer: the difference in profits can be hundreds of times. But how to find these tokens?
But the main thing is how not to buy clothes?
Where to find new projects
Twitter, Telegram communities, crypto forums like Bitcointalk - this is your first front. But the main rule: if a token is being talked about everywhere, it is no longer “early”. You need to catch it at the stage when thousands know about it, not millions.
Reddit, Discord servers of developers, official project websites — the information there is often more honest than in FOMO groups.
What to analyze before investing
Team — first Google. Developers have GitHub with activity, advisors have LinkedIn with a portfolio of successful projects. Heard about the developer for the first time in your life? That's a red flag.
Technology — does the project solve a real problem or is it just another blockchain utopia? Are there unique features or is it a fork of Ethereum under another name?
Tokenomics — this is where many investors lose their minds. Check it out:
Community — are they active or just bots? Google the members on Twitter. Are the partnerships real or just logos on the website?
How to buy a token before listing
Option 1: Presale/ICO — the fastest, but an invite list is required. Tokens are cheaper, but locked. Risk: the project may never launch.
Option 2: IDO on DEX — decentralized, directly from the smart contract. Uniswap, PancakeSwap, SushiSwap. Advantages: no intermediaries. Disadvantages: wild competition, gas costs, can catch a pump before a crash.
Caution! This is important
✓ Only invest what you can afford to lose 100%. The chance of a complete wipeout is not zero.
✓ Read the whitepaper (, don't just scroll, but understand the mechanics ).
✓ Check the listing of kosher exchanges — if the micro-project promises Binance in a month, it's crap.
✓ Diversify. If 7 out of 10 tokens disappear, and one increases by 100x — you're in profit.
✓ Keep up with the news, but not in FOMO groups. CoinGecko, crypto media, official channels — that's where the information is.
Remember: crypto is a casino with negative mathematics. The advantages belong to those who do their homework, not to those who believe in luck.
