Tether holds 10.7% of Juventus, becoming the second largest shareholder.

On June 25, according to reports, no mainstream European football club has ever listed a Crypto Assets company as one of its major shareholders before 2025. Tether first disclosed its shares in Juventus Football Club in February this year, and by April, its shareholding had accumulated to 10.7%. Based on the data as of this past Monday’s close, the market capitalization of this portion of shares is currently approximately €128 million (around $149 million).

Tether is currently the second largest shareholder after Exor NV, the largest shareholder of Juventus. Exor is the investment company of the Italian billionaire Agnelli family, which has been managing this football club for over a century. According to a statement from Tether, Tether is also seeking to obtain a seat on the board of Juventus.
