🇨🇦 Canada: XRP Spot ETF Approved! ✅
• Purpose Investments has received final approval for the XRP spot ETF from the Ontario Securities Commission of Canada.
• The XRPP code will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on June 18, 2025.
• Fund; will be offered in 3 different versions, including Canadian dollar protected, unprotected, and in USD.
This was the first XRP spot ETF in North America.
• After the news, an increase of about 7% was observed in the XRP price.
🇺🇸 USA: Approval Process is Ongoing ⏳
• Franklin Templeton's spot XRP ETF application is expected to be decided by the SEC on June 17, 2025.
• The probability of approval is estimated at around 88% in the markets.
• ProShares requested the SEC to make a decision on the XRP ( and Solana) ETF by June 25, 2025.
• WisdomTree filed for an XRP ETF on May 28. The SEC's decision period will last 240 days.
