On June 12, politico reported that veteran U.S. Democratic strategist David Plouffe, who has worked extensively in the tech sector in recent years, will now join CEX’s global advisory board. Plouffe, who served as a key adviser to Harris in her presidential campaign, was Obama’s campaign manager, is best known for helping Obama win the U.S. presidential race, and held key positions in the White House. After Obama’s term, David Plouffe also served as senior vice president at Uber and as a global advisor to CEX. He is the latest political heavyweight to join the advisory body.
