[Analyst: “The Summer of Altcoin ETFs” May Arrive in July with SEC Approval] Analysts say that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) may begin approving some exchange-traded funds ( ETF ) linked to Crypto Assets as early as next month, thereby ushering in a “Summer of Altcoin ETFs.” Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas released a memo from his colleague James Seyffart on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, which mentioned: “An ETF tracking a broad cryptocurrency index may receive SEC approval next month.” The memo added that the SEC may also “take early action” on the applications for Solana and the staking ETF, with Balchunas stating: “Get ready for a potential altcoin ETF summer, as Solana is likely to lead the way.”
