The International Trade Negotiation Representative of the Ministry of Commerce: China and the United States have reached a framework agreement in principle.

On June 11, local time June 10, Li Chenggang, the international trade negotiator and deputy minister of the Ministry of Commerce, spoke in London about the first meeting of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism, stating that both sides engaged in professional, rational, in-depth, and candid communication. In principle, both sides reached a framework for implementing the consensus from the June 5 call between the two heads of state and the consensus from the Geneva talks. (People’s Daily)
