Trump-Musk is Getting Hotter, Now Saying Trump's Tariffs Will Cause a Recession

The situation between the former Head of the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E) Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump is increasingly heating up. Recently, Musk stated that Trump's tariffs would trigger a second recession in the US this year.
"That rate will lead to a recession in the second half of this year," wrote Musk on his X page.
In addition, the threat of recession in the US this year is becoming increasingly real, with various economic indicators starting to show weakness. Although there has not yet been a drastic contraction, a number of warning signals have emerged, raising concerns in both global and domestic markets.
This refers to the new trade tariffs set by Trump, particularly the trade war with China that shows no signs of easing. Therefore, Musk believes that Trump's tariffs could plunge the US economy into a recession in the second half.
Previously, Musk also mentioned the new tax policy that is considered to waste the US budget, especially as the US debt is now increasing to $39.9 trillion.
Not only that, Trump's tariffs have a significant impact on Musk's Tesla company, where the costs of raw materials and overseas production have surged multiple times.
In fact, Tesla's stock has dropped significantly since the announcement of tariffs for the first time to US trading partner countries and has also been affected by Musk's absence after serving as a special advisor to Trump.
