Ethereum researcher Justin Drake stated in an interview that a 51% attack on Bitcoin is much cheaper than attacking Ethereum, estimating that an attack on Bitcoin would require about $10 billion, while Ethereum, due to its PoS mechanism, requires control of over 50% of staked ETH (currently valued at about $44.8 billion), and price fluctuations may further increase costs.
