Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko stated that the main reasons for removing EOF include: potential impact on the Fusaka upgrade timeline, uncertainty regarding technical impacts, and issues in the upgrade priority assessment process. He emphasized that currently all client teams believe that deploying PeerDAS as soon as possible is the most important priority for Ethereum.
