On April 27, the head of CEX Chinese, Xie Jiayin, posted on platform X stating, “I noticed that some communities are discussing the lawyer’s letter issued by BG. After verification, I would like to clarify a few details with everyone: 1. CEX will issue a total of 8 lawyer’s letters; 2. These 8 accounts are suspected to be related to a professional profit-seeking group, which is the main instigator of the VOXEL incident and has improperly profited over 20 million dollars; 3. The recovered funds will be distributed 100% to platform users in the form of an airdrop; 4. Apart from these 8 accounts, all other users who participated in VOXEL trading from 16:00 to 16:30 on April 20 and have withdrawn their funds need not worry! Accounts have been restored to normal on Wednesday, and there will be no future liabilities; 5. We will release a complete incident report on the VOXEL event as soon as possible to restore the truth of the incident.”
