Spot gold breaks below $5,000 per ounce, a certain whale opens a $6.3 million gold short position in the short term

Gate News: On March 17, due to the decline of spot gold below $5,000 per ounce, the GOLD (gold) contract price on a decentralized derivatives trading platform also dropped. Currently, the platform’s largest short address for GOLD (0xacb) has an unrealized profit of $620,000, with a profit margin of 7%, and an average entry price of $5,113. Additionally, within the past half hour, another address opened short positions in both GOLD and SILVER, with holdings of $6.3 million each. The average entry price for the GOLD short position is $5,003, and both positions are now showing unrealized profits.
