The consortium members include UTXO, Sora Ventures, Kliff Capital, Moon Inc. (Hong Kong Stock Exchange: 1723), and AsiaStrategy (Nasdaq: SORA), with Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich also participating in the investment personally. DV8 primarily engages in retail and consumer electronics distribution. Sora Ventures stated that the acquisition aims to position the Thai market as the next “Metaplanet.”
