The US government has sold the ANT Tokens seized from Alameda Research.
Golden Finance reported that, according to Arkham data, the U.S. government has sold ANT Tokens seized from Alameda Research. This is the first transfer of funds from the Wallet in nearly two years, with approximately $974,000 worth of Cryptocurrency in the Wallet. In November 2023, the Swiss non-profit organization Aragon Association voted to dissolve and sold 86,343 ETH (then valued at $155 million) in exchange for ANT Tokens. Users must redeem their ANT Tokens by November 2, 2024. After redemption, all ANT Tokens will be destroyed because ‘continuing to hold ANT has no meaning from now on’.
