On September 2, Japanese listed company Metaplanet received shareholder approval to raise up to 555 billion yen through preferred shares for investing in Bitcoin, equivalent to approximately 3.828 billion USD. On September 1, Japanese listed company Metaplanet once again increased its holdings by 1,009 Bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 20,000 BTC.
