Gate will launch Bitlayer on August 27, 2025, at 19:00 ( UTC+80 019283746656574839201 for spot trading, with the trading pair BTR/USDT.
Bitlayer is the first BitVM implementation project, dedicated to building Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure. The project has secured $30 million in funding from institutions such as Polychain Capital and Franklin Templeton, with main products including the BitVM cross-chain bridge, yield-bearing asset YBTC, and Bitcoin Rollup.
