According to ChainCatcher, a report from Cointelegraph states that a U.S. judge has rejected part of Tether's motion to dismiss, allowing Celsius Network to proceed with its multi-billion dollar lawsuit against Tether. Celsius accuses Tether of improperly liquidating approximately 39,500 Bitcoins in collateral in June 2022, violating the procedures outlined in their lending protocol, which led to losses of over $4 billion for Celsius. Although Tether argues that the U.S. court lacks jurisdiction, the judge believes that the breach of contract, fraudulent transfer, and priority claims raised by Celsius can proceed.
