About 79% of those surveyed expressed worry that "Iran might target American civilians in response to the U.S. airstrike." Approximately 84% of respondents reported feeling concerned overall about the escalating conflict. This national poll of 1,139 adults reveals significant divisions within the U.S. over what Washington should do next and highlights the political risks Trump faces. Trump's approval rating has dropped to 41%, the lowest since he took office in January. The margin of error for this survey is 3 percentage points.
