Trump stated: considering drop in tariffs on China to stimulate consumption
gate News bot消息，据联合早报报道，美国总统特朗普在白宫记者会上就中美关税问题发表讲话。特朗普在记者会上表示："I don't want tariffs to go up, because at a certain point, people don't want to buy things anymore. So I may not raise tariffs, I may not even let them go to that level. I may lower tariffs, because you want people to buy things."
Trump revealed that China has proactively sought negotiations regarding the tariff issue. He added that the two sides have maintained contact since the U.S. imposed tariffs on China and are optimistic about reaching an agreement.
