The Fed is expected to cut interest rates on Wednesday, but the voting results may show a "three-way split."

According to Mars Finance, Jin10 reported that the Fed is expected to lower the federal funds interest rate target range by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4% on Wednesday. However, Generali Investments anticipates that the vote among decision-makers could be “split three ways,” with one dissenter supporting a larger cut of 50 basis points, and possibly some dissenters advocating for keeping the interest rate unchanged. The agency expects the Fed to cut rates again in December and to make its final rate cut in the first quarter of 2026.
