3 ISO 20022 Altcoins Ready to Explode: Don’t Miss the Next Mega Pump
Stellar enables regulated, cross-border payments with ISO 20022-aligned on-chain data standards.
Quant uses Overledger to connect blockchains and traditional finance through ISO 20022 compliance.
IOTA powers IoT microtransactions with secure, standardized data exchange under ISO 20022.
The crypto market is heating up again. And some altcoins are beginning to gain real ground more quietly. These promising projects include those that follow ISO 20022, the universal financial messaging standard that will revolutionise digital payments. These tokens play with the old world of finance combined with the new world of blockchain technology and their use cases go beyond speculation. Now let’s take a look at three ISO 20022–compliant altcoins ready to explode – Stellar, Quant and IOTA.
Stellar (XLM)

Stellar was built to connect various currencies through one efficient network. The objective of the project was to facilitate smooth transactions between any two exchangeable assets via fiat to cryptocurrency. Stellar is distinguished by the Stellar Ecosystem Proposals (SEPs). These documents define the interface through which anchors, wallets and asset issuers communicate within the network.
Two key proposals—SEP-9 and SEP-31—directly align Stellar’s transaction data with ISO 20022 standards. This alignment allows regulated Know Your Customer (KYC) information and cross-border payment details to exist securely on-chain. As a result, Stellar is not just processing payments. The network fosters trust and compliance, bridging the gap between blockchain innovation and regulated finance.
Quant (QNT)

Quant positions itself as the “infrastructure of money,” and for good reason. The project focuses on interoperability, which means smooth communication between different blockchains. The core of Quant’s technology is Overledger, a platform that enables Multi-chain Applications (MApps). This feature allows smart contracts to function across multiple blockchains without compatibility issues.
By supporting ISO 20022, Quant strengthens the link between blockchain networks and legacy financial systems. Overledger enables secure and scalable data exchange between banks, enterprises, and blockchain networks in real time. Unified financial messaging brings all communication under one digital roof, creating a single, consistent flow of data.
IOTA (IOTA)
Source: Trading View
IOTA focuses on the Internet of Things, where connected devices share information and facilitate automated activities. IOTA employs a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG), a.k.a. the Tangle, in lieu of a conventional blockchain, designed for lightweight, rapid transactions. By observing the specifications of ISO 20022, IOTA gains an advantage in terms of safe, standardized means of communication between devices that are connected. This allows data and payment information to be conveyed directly without intermediaries. For example, IOTA is capable of processing payments on a profit-making basis in such areas as smart cities, supply chains, and industrial environments.
Stellar is focused on trusted payment solutions, Quant aids blockchain interoperability, whereas IOTA facilitates the connection of the virtual world through IoT. By being aligned with ISO 20022, they are able to amplify transparency, safety and interoperability with the traditional systems surrounding any payments.
