The core of Velodrome Finance is the Optimism protocol solution to appropriately incentivize the liquidity of its own use cases. Building on the foundation laid by Solidly, our team has addressed the core issues of the first iteration to achieve its full potential. Velodrome Finance uses two tokens to manage its utility and governance: the ERC-20 utility token of the VELO protocol, which is used to reward liquidity providers through emissions$ VEVELO - ERC-721 governance token in the form of NFT (Non fungible Token), used for governance. Any $VELO holder can vote to host their tokens and receive $veVELO (also known as veNFT) in exchange. Additional tokens can be added to $veVELO NFT at any time.
