On April 7th, the A-share market experienced wide fluctuations throughout the day, with all three major indices ending in the green, and the Sci-Tech Innovation Board 50 Index rising over 1%. In terms of sectors, sports concepts strengthened again, with Jinling Sports hitting the 20% daily limit, and shares like Shuhua Sports, Zhongti Industry, Guchuang Turf, and Guangdong Media hitting the daily limit; Lisheng Sports, Kangliyuan, Jilin Chemical Fiber, Kangbit, and Green Turf Ecology also rose along with them.

On the news front, on the afternoon of April 6th, the first Zhejiang Provincial City Football League (Wuyue Cup) kicked off, and in April, five other provincial city leagues will also start one after another: the popular “Scottish Premier League” will reignite on the 11th, a month earlier than the first edition; new leagues in Guangdong, Hubei, and Fujian this year, as well as Shandong’s “Qilu Super League,” will also kick off this month.

CITIC Construction Investment believes that in recent years, the social externalities of popular sports events like the Scottish Premier League, Winter Olympics, and F1 have been reflected, stimulating economic vitality through new forms such as event economy, ticket economy, and debut economy, continuously validating the feasibility of promoting consumption cycles. The sports industry is expected to become an important leader in the modern service sector.
