Our country's deepest offshore wind power project has achieved full capacity grid connection and power generation.

People’s Finance News, April 7—On April 7, my country’s deepest offshore wind power project, the Huaneng Shandong Peninsula North L site offshore wind power project, achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation, marking a new breakthrough for China’s offshore wind power in areas such as deep-sea complex environments and the integration of large-capacity turbine units. The project site is located about 70 kilometers offshore from its center, with a water depth of 52 to 56 meters. It has installed 42 wind turbines of 12 megawatts each, for a total installed capacity of 504k kilowatts. The project’s annual electricity generation is approximately 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours, and each year it can save about 500k tons of standard coal. (People’s Daily)
