NexGen Energy Nears Construction Phase for Flagship Uranium Project

NexGen Energy is moving closer to beginning construction on its Rook I uranium project in Canada, having secured the final federal license from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. A Final Investment Decision is expected in summer 2026, with construction to follow. Concurrently, the company is undertaking a significant 45,500-meter drilling campaign to expand the resource base in the Athabasca Basin, maintaining a positive outlook from analysts despite being a pre-revenue company.
