This will make MSBT the first Bitcoin ETF product ( BTC ) to enter the market in nearly two years, since the cryptocurrency asset management firm Grayscale launched its Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF product in July 2024.
MSBT enters a competitive market led by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), which have collectively achieved $74.3 billion in net inflows since their launch in January 2024, according to Farside Investors data.
