Costco's second fiscal quarter global same-store sales increased by 6.7% year over year.

Costco’s FY2026 Q2 earnings report released by the company shows that net profit for the second fiscal quarter reached $2.04B, and diluted earnings per share were $4.58; both figures were above market expectations.

Quarterly net sales increased 9.1% year over year to $68.24 billion; excluding the impact of oil prices and exchange-rate fluctuations, global same-store sales grew 6.7% year over year. Membership fee revenue rose to $1.36 billion and remains the core driver of the company’s profit growth.

Digital channels delivered strong performance: adjusted digital sales in the second fiscal quarter grew 21.7% year over year. Adjusted U.S. same-store sales grew 6.4%, Canada grew 7.6%, and other international markets grew 7.1%.
