On April 8, Iran announced that negotiations with the United States would take place in Islamabad to finalize specific details, aiming to politically confirm Iran’s battlefield achievements within 15 days at the latest. Iranian media reported that the ten-point proposal put forth by Iran includes: achieving control over the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with Iranian armed forces, halting the war against Iran and its allies, and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from all regional bases. The media also stated that negotiations with the United States do not imply the end of the war. The war will only be accepted as over once all details are finalized according to the ten-point plan.
